Meet Sami Bee, the founder and heart of VA on the GO.

Born in June 1989 in England, Sami Bee is the driving force behind VA on the GO, a business that combines her passion for travel, business, and helping others succeed. Her Gemini personality is evident in her adaptability, curiosity, and love for communication. Whether it’s diving into new challenges or forging connections with people from all walks of life, Sami’s journey is marked by an entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for growth. Over the years, she has transformed these natural talents into a successful virtual assistant and project management business that supports clients globally.

Her entrepreneurial spirit was evident early on.

Growing up in Worcester, UK, Sami’s business sense showed up early. At the age of 13, she took her first job in a restaurant, and soon after, started her own small business selling sweets at school. By 19, she was working as a purchasing assistant, where she developed key skills in planning, organization, and operations. It wasn’t long before Sami realized that the traditional office life wasn’t for her—especially when she found herself staring out of her office window, wishing she could be outside, exploring.

Adventures and Growth:

That yearning for adventure led Sami to save up and embark on a two-year working holiday in Australia. She traveled across the country in a camper van, working in cities like Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, and even on a 60,000-acre sheep station. These experiences fueled her love for flexibility and exploration, eventually taking her across Asia.

In Malaysia and Bali, Sami pursued her passion for scuba diving and learned the art of website management and customer onboarding while working at a scuba diving resort. From there, she moved to Vietnam, where she taught English to children and teenagers. In her spare time, she continued to offer her digital expertise to local businesses, helping them with their online presence.

Building VA on the GO:

The pivotal moment came in 2020, when Sami found herself in Thailand at the height of the global pandemic. It was here she met a fellow virtual assistant specializing in social media, sparking the inspiration to focus on building her own VA business. With a diverse set of skills from her travels and professional experience, Sami began attracting clients, especially female spiritual coaches in the growing online coaching space.

What began as a small operation soon blossomed into a thriving business. Sami expanded her services to include project management, lead generation, social media strategy, and more. Her hands-on approach and personal attention to each client’s needs allowed VA on the GO to grow into the trusted and dynamic business it is today.

Recent Ventures:

After years of traveling, Sami returned to the UK in early 2024, settling back into her hometown with fresh perspectives and a drive for new opportunities. Over the past 8 months, she has been focused on expanding VA on the GO and exploring new ventures within her local community. With an eye on personal growth and connection, Sami is also looking to create something meaningful in Worcester, possibly a women’s circle centered around spirituality, mental health, and community-building. As she continues to deepen her roots in the UK, Sami remains open to discovering new passions and ways to connect with like-minded people.
